Terms of Service

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms cover your use of Wisp, the desktop app and the website at heywisp.ai. By creating an account or using Wisp, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Wisp.

Your account

You need an account to use Wisp. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

What Wisp does for you

Wisp acts on your computer and in apps you connect, on your instructions: opening and arranging windows, organizing files, reading and sending email, managing calendar events, building software, and more. Wisp is built to act quickly, and by default she does not stop to confirm each step. You can turn on "Ask permission mode" if you'd like her to check first.

Wisp's answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Check important information, and review anything Wisp sends or changes on your behalf. You are responsible for the instructions you give Wisp and for messages sent from your accounts.

Acceptable use

Don't use Wisp to break the law, to harm others, to send spam, to access accounts or data you aren't authorized to access, or to interfere with Wisp's service. Don't try to extract the keys or bypass the limits of Wisp's servers. We may suspend accounts that do.

Connected apps

When you connect apps such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Linear or GitHub, your use of those apps is still governed by their own terms. You can disconnect at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data from them.

Plans and payment

Wisp offers a free tier and paid Plus and Pro plans with monthly allowances, plus optional pay-as-you-go top-ups. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you use your own provider keys, charges from those providers are between you and them.

Your content

You own what you say, type, and create with Wisp, including software Wisp builds for you. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run Wisp for you.

Our software

Wisp, its name, character, and website are ours. You may use the app for your own personal or work use; don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it except as the law allows. Builds may be distributed without code signing; your computer may warn you when installing them.

Disclaimers

Wisp is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise Wisp will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that actions taken by Wisp will always be correct.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Wisp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you haven't paid us.

Ending your use

You can stop using Wisp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Wisp, and will give notice when we reasonably can.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Wisp after changes take effect means you accept them.
